Hatton School raised $170 in honor of “World Down Syndrome Day”, on Friday, March 21. Students each paid $1 and wore two different silly socks to symbolize the acceptance of differences in people. The students called this event “Rock your socks”. The ABC school ambassador’s went to each classroom educating students about Down Syndrome and reading stories about children and teens with this disorder. The school also collaborate with students at Kelly School to get this event started.
