The use of social media by the Trump administration is the topic of a panel discussion on this month’s edition of Jim Pellegrino’s statewide TV show, “The Hour,” which airs Friday at 6 p.m. on Cox Meriden, Southington and Cheshire public access TV channels.

The panel is comprised of: Andrea Obston, president Andrea Obston Marketing Communications; and Dean Pagani, senior vice-president McDowell-Jewett Communications. They will be discussing “both the productive and severe political ramifications of (the Trump administration’s) use of social media for both policy announcements and crisis communications and the effect on the American people and world opinion,” according to a press release.

“The Hour” also airs Friday at 7 on Nutmeg Cable. It is available on AT&T U-verse, online at www.ccsu.edu/thehour and can be found in the iTunesU section of iTunes.

Pellegrino is a Meriden resident and former mayor of Meriden.
