Stacey A. Fumiatti and William W. Malcolm were married on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2017, at Notre Dame Church, Durham. followed by a reception at Lyman Orchards Golf Club, Middlefield.
The bride is the daughter of Michael and Theresa Fumiatti, of Durham. The groom is the son of James and Millicent Malcolm, of Middlefield.
The maid of honor was the bride’s friend, Andrea Braga; bridesmaids included Audrey Biesak, Colleen Fogarty, Mary Fogarty, Michelle Fogarty, Caroline Malcolm, Hannah Malcolm, Carissa Riccio, and Alyssa Tiedemann.
The best men were brothers of the groom, James Malcolm and Michael Malcolm; groomsmen included Adam Arundel, Steven Fumiatti, Connor Landers, Thomas Malcolm, Patrick Reynolds, and Ryan Salke.
The bride and groom are both graduates of Coginchaug Regional High School, class of 2012, and Eastern Connecticut State University, class of 2016.
Stacey received her bachelor’s degree in child psychology and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in child life from Southern Connecticut State University.
William received his bachelor’s degree in history and commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. Immediately following college, he completed Infantry Basic Officer Leader Course, earned the Ranger Tab and the Parachutist badge.
The couple will reside in Killeen, Texas, where 1st Lt. Malcolm is stationed at Fort Hood with the First Cavalry Division.
