The Kensington Volunteer Fire Department is honored to officially open its 9/11 Memorial, dedicated to the brave men and women who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.
Retired Chief Mark Lewandowski spearheaded this project for the department, and on Tuesday, Sept. 11, we will remember those who responded and made the ultimate sacrifice during the terrorist attack that day.
The ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. at the Kensington Volunteer Fire Department, 880 Farmington Ave.
