Berlin Public Schools is excited to welcome the new certified staff members that joined our community for the 2019-2020 school year. The Board of Education would like to introduce the new staff: 

Berlin High School

Michael Sobolewski – Social Studies teacher

First-year teacher

Education:  Quinnipiac University – Bachelor of Arts in History

Central Connecticut State University – Master of Arts in Teaching

Christopher Wisniewski – Biology teacher

1 year of experience

Education:  Southern Connecticut State University – Bachelor of Science in Biology  

Southern Connecticut State University – Master of Science in Biology

McGee Middle School

Todd Morgan – Special education teacher

5 years of experience

Education:  St. Lawrence University NY – Bachelor of Science in Geology

Connecticut State University – Master of Science in STEM Education

Heather Ripley – Art teacher

First-year teacher

Education: Central Connecticut State University – Bachelor of Science in Art Education

Griswold Elementary School

Mallory Calabrese – Grade 2 teacher

Hubbard Elementary School

Skyla Bradley – Grade 4 teacher

Education:  Concordia College – Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education

Dickinson University – Master of Arts in Elementary Education

We are excited for the new certified staff members to join Berlin Public Schools.  The Board of Education wishes them luck as they begin working with the students of Berlin.
