The Connecticut Association of Schools Outstanding Arts Awards Banquet annually recognizes two seniors in each member high school for their outstanding ability in the arts.
The primary criteria is excellence in the performing or visual arts, with scholarship and leadership as supporting criteria; students are selected by their high school faculty for this honor.
Berlin High School’s recipients are Mariel Christiana, representing excellence in performing arts, and Jillian Balaban, representing excellence in visual arts.
