The Berlin Bears D team won a hard-fought game against East Hartford Sunday. Despite the oppressive heat, the locals never gave up and earned a 7-6 victory over East Hartford in Simsbury.
With the win, Berlin improved to 2-0.
The Bears’ defense held its ground against East Hartford. Connor Anderson made several outstanding tackles and Jack Mullally caused a fumble recovered by Chace King.
Berlin’s offense moved the ball well, allowing Preston Mota to score a touchdown. Chase Hrubiec ran in the extra point.
