CHESHIRE — A section of Cook Hill Road is closed after a car struck a utility pole Friday afternoon.
Emergency crews responded to Cook Hill Road near Corliss Lane around 2:20 p.m. Friday for a report of a car that struck a utility pole, police said.
Firefighters extricated one person and minor injuries were reported, police said. Frontier was requested to the scene to evaluate the pole, which was damaged in the crash. An officer at the scene said two people were taken to a hospital for treatment. A woman had to be extricated from the passenger side of the car, police said.
