CHESHIRE — Dodd Middle School was in lockdown Friday while police investigated what was determined to be a non-credible threat.
Police spokesman Lt. Jeffrey Sutherland said the incident was reported by school administration. Police investigated and the lockdown was lifted about 2 p.m.
“The school was put into a lockdown because of a report we received that a student had made a threat against the school,” the Board of Education said in a statement. “Based on their investigation, the Cheshire Police have concluded that there is no credible threat against staff, students, or the school.”
