Contribution to soup kitchen in Meriden

Washington Middle School raised $2,603 for the Meriden Soup Kitchen during their annual Bread and Broth Community Dinner. WMS Parent Teacher Committee chairperson, Beverly Bryda and WMS art teacher, Gary O’Neil, organized the event. The PTC sold tickets and had a raffle to raise funds for the Meriden Soup Kitchen. In addition to the monetary contribution, the PTC donated several boxes of non-perishable food items to the Meriden Soup Kitchen. Washington Middle School would like to thank the efforts of Bevery Bryda and the WMS PTC, Gary O’Neil, and all the Washington Middle School families that contributed and participated in this great event.
