WALLINGFORD – Roxy is two-year-old American bulldog mix up for adoption at the Wallingford Animal Shelter, 5 Pent Road.
Animal Control Officer Katie Ehlers said Roxy is “very sweet and goofy” and would be a good fit for any family.
Roxy was adopted from the Wallingford shelter as a puppy, however, the family that adopted her recently returned her “at no fault of her own,” Ehlers said.
Roxy is a young, rambunctious dog and the shelter is currently working with her on manners.
“She's a little all over the place right now, but she's very sweet,” she said.
Roxy weighs about 70 pounds and has no health issues. She can’t go to a home with another dog but can live with cats and small children.
