WALLINGFORD — Nola is a 10-month-old pit bull mix up for adoption at Wallingford Animal Control, 5 Pent Road.

Nola was dropped off at the shelter a couple of weeks ago because her owners were moving.

Amanda Armstrong, assistant animal control officer, described Nola as “timid but sweet.”

“She’s just a good girl,” Armstrong said.

Nola weighs around 35 pounds and likes to go on walks. She’s not too active, Armstrong said, and shouldn’t go to a home with young children or other dogs.

Nola has no health issues and will be spayed before she leaves.

To inquire about adopting Nola, contact the animal shelter at 203-294-2180 or at info@wallingfordanimalcontrol.com.
