MERIDEN — Spike is a 2-year-old female cat up for adoption at the Meriden Humane Society, 311 Murdock Ave.

Spike came to the shelter because her owner moved. She has black and white fur and weighs about six pounds. Animal care coordinator Danielle Consiglio said Spike is “full of love, sweet and playful” and will “greet you and nuzzle your hand.”

“If you’ve been wishing for an all around great kitty, who’s even good with dogs, your wish could be granted,” Consiglio said.

Spike is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and doesn’t have any known health conditions.

To inquire about adopting Spike, contact the Meriden Humane Society at 203-238-3650 or info@meridenhumanesocietyrescue.com.
