No injuries in car fire on Chamberlain Highway in Meriden

MERIDEN — Firefighters extinguished a car fire on Chamberlain Highway Monday morning.

The vehicle was engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived shortly before 11 a.m., authorities said.

The fire was extinguished about 11:15 a.m.  Deputy Fire Chief Ryan Dunn said there were no reported injuries.
