Meriden police investigate robbery at Colony Street gas station



MERIDEN — Police are investigating a Wednesday robbery at a Colony Street gas station.

Officers responded to Colony Gas Mart, 446 Colony St., about 10:20 a.m.  About 11 a.m., officers were seen outside the store and on Colony Place with a police dog.

Sgt. Darrin McKay said no injuries were reported and it wasn’t clear if anything was taken. He described the investigation as “active.”

Police cleared the scene by about 1 p.m.
