MERIDEN — Paul’s Deli remains open after a car crashed through the front window of the store Saturday afternoon.

Owner Paul Dominello said an elderly woman struck the front window of the business at 154 N. Wall St. around 3:10 p.m. Dominello said no one was injured in the incident.

Police, fire and the building inspector responded and the business was cleared to remain open. The store is normally closed on Sunday and was closed Monday for Labor Day.

Dominello said he plans to stay open while repairs are made to the front window.
