Meriden man charged with stealing more than $600 worth of items from Sears



 

MERIDEN — A city man faces charges after police said he stole more than $600 worth of merchandise from Sears at the Westfield Meriden mall Tuesday afternoon. 

Eduardo Lopez, 47, of 79 Bronson Ave., was charged with fifth-degree larceny and first-degree criminal trespass. 

Police responded to Sears, 470 Lewis Ave., around 2:50 p.m. for a report of a theft, according to a police report. Officers determined the stolen merchandise was valued at $633.
