Police investigating theft of almost $9,000 worth of rings from Zales at Westfield Meriden mall



MERIDEN — Almost $9,000 worth of rings were stolen from Zales at the Westfield Meriden mall last week. 

Multiple suspects reportedly distracted an employee and stole the rings on Jan. 22 around 5:25 p.m., said police spokesman Sgt. John Mennone.

Mennone said police are working with mall security to identify the suspects.
