Meriden police increase patrols at Platt High School Thursday after non-credible threat reported



 

MERIDEN — Police increased patrols around Platt High School Thursday following a report of a threatening social media post.

Wednesday afternoon. The threat was later found to be “non-credible,” police said.

Authorities determined the Wednesday afternoon post, which originated in Puerto Rico, was directed at a student, but not a threat to the school, police said.
