Concerns are many
To the editor:
Before the Planning and Zoning Commission is a site plan application relative to Elm Street. It is to develop a portion of the 30 acres into an enormous 86-bay trucking terminal, operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Also, it will require lowering the road under the railroad bridge in order to accommodate the truck traffic plan to access other roads and highways.
I presently live at the Quail Run condo, adjacent to the site plan.
My concerns are:
1.Safety concerns for walking high school students and pedestrians on Elm Street.
4.Additional traffic congestion.
5.Creating additional route for all trucks in this area.
6.School bus traffic with large trucks.
7.Increased flooding with lower road under railroad bridge and narrow road width.
8.Concerns for 55 and over Quail Run residents.
9.Depreciation value of residential properties.
