NORTH HAVEN — A man has been charged after police said he stole an AR-15-style rifle from a local home.

Patrick Frawley, 27, was charged Thursday with theft of a firearm and larceny. He was held on $50,000 bond.

On Wednesday, a Tenedine Drive resident notified police that his AR-15-style rifle was stolen from a garage attached to the resident’s home.

Officers identified Frawley as a suspect, and found evidence of the theft when they searched his home, police said. Just before 4 p.m. on Thursday police said they recovered the stolen rifle.
