NORTH HAVEN — A counselor at an outpatient treatment center was arrested this week after police said she used patient information to open a fraudulent account for cable and internet services.
Kimberly Telford, 39, of New Haven, was charged with identity theft, criminal impersonation, and larceny.
Police said Telford, a substance use disorder counselor, used access to patient information to open accounts under other names. More charges are expected.
Telford was released after posting a $35,000 bond.
