NORTH HAVEN — Police are waiting for toxicology results while they continue to investigate the July death of a 7-week-old infant.

Police previously identified the infant as Logan Charpentier.

Police responded to a home on Fortune Drive on July 6 for a report of an infant not breathing, according to Deputy Chief Kevin Glenn. Charpentier was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital and pronounced dead.

Police learned the father was taking care of Charpentier, and the mother arrived home to find Charpentier not breathing. Police and the state’s attorney’s office are investigating.
