Plainville constables get a recount

PLAINVILLE – Constable candidates in Plainville will get a recount Wednesday due to a close vote.

Town Clerk Carol Skultety said Tuesday the ballots will be recounted at the town Municipal Center. She said results will be known soon after.

The constables elected last week were Kathleen Michalik (D), Ezio Capozzi Jr. (R), Joe Klepacki (D), Roberta Lalama (R), Cheryl Castonguay (D), and Adam Bergenty (R) and Shelly Johnson (D).

Johnson (D) won with 1,207 votes to Joyce Schrey (R) who received 1,205 votes.
