Community invited to share feedback on town schools


Plainville Community Schools is looking for community feedback regarding the school district’s progress on strategic plan goals, and will again utilize “Thoughtexchange” – a short, simple, web-based information-gathering tool, according to Superintendent of Schools, Dr. Maureen Brummett.

The goals of the survey process are to effectively engage the community to gather insight, identify and address emerging issues and challenges, and foster community ownership of education.

To participate in the Thoughtexchange survey, parents, community members and district staff members will have access to a survey link provided via email or through the school district’s website.

Plainville residents may “self- register” to participate in the process.

The survey will allow participants to share their insight pertaining to the school district via one open-ended question: What do you think our schools are doing well and what can we focus on in order to improve?

Once the exchange has closed, Plainville Community Schools will process the feedback and share the results.

The Thoughtexchange process is scheduled through Wednesday, Oct. 17.
