Police: Glastonbury man punched, broke window at 75 Center in Southington while intoxicated

SOUTHINGTON — A Glastonbury man faces charges after police say he broke a window at a downtown bar while he was intoxicated.

Finn Gordon, 21, of 17 Stony Brook Dr., Glastonbury, was charged last week with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree criminal mischief and interfering with an officer. He was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Bristol Superior Court on Monday.

On Nov. 23 about 1 a.m., police responded to 75 Center St., after an intoxicated patron reportedly punched and broke a window at the bar. Sgt. Jeffrey Dobratz said Gordon tried to flee but was caught and detained by bar employees until authorities arrived.

Dobratz said Gordon resisted when officers took him into custody. Gordon was also treated by emergency personnel for a cut he suffered when he broke the window.

The damage was estimated at $2,000.
