SOUTHINGTON — Thirty-five plus lots in an award-winning subdivision off Meriden-Waterbury Turnpike are on the market.
Open houses are planned Nov. 30 from 2 to 5 p.m., on Dec. 2 from noon to 5 p.m. and on Dec. 3 from noon to 5 p.m., according to Juanita Champagne, of Calcagni Associates, which is co-managing the neighborhood for the builders.

The 2,236 square-foot model “Ascot” style home at 21 Hillcrest Village showcases builder Liz Verna and John Iannini’s experience in the homebuilding industry. It features a two-story open floor plan, and is one of several designs available at Hillcrest Village. Ascot models are priced at $409,900.
In 2015, the Home Builders & Remodelers Association of Connecticut awarded Hillcrest Village with the Best Small Lot Community in Connecticut and Best Single Family Home Award in the $300,000 to $400,000 range. The homes are environmentally friendly and “offer modern living with the latest in energy efficiency,” according to the listing.
The Ascot model is a contemporary colonial that features an organized floor plan that maximizes living space. It has three spacious bedrooms, two- and-a-half bathrooms, with carpeted and hardwood floors. A ranch-style home design is also available for building. The lot size for 21 Hillcrest Village is 8,712 square feet. Other lot sizes vary.
