SOUTHINGTON — No serious injuries were reported in a rollover crash and car fire on Curtiss Street near Lazy Lane Thursday afternoon.
Fire officials said two good Samaritans pulled the driver, who was briefly trapped in the burning car, to safety.
The accident occurred about 4 p.m. near the intersection of Curtiss Street and Lazy Lane. Fire officials said the car struck tree stumps and rocks before rolling over.
Police Lt. Stephen Elliott said no serious injuries were reported. The driver was conscious when taken to Hartford Hospital, fire officials said.
The fire was extinguished shortly after firefighters arrived.
Police are investigating the crash.
