Southington police search for shoplifting suspects, charity donation box proceeds stolen

SOUTHINGTON — Police are searching for two suspects after a shoplifting incident at a gas station last week.

The incident took place on June 26 around 10:30 p.m. at the Citgo gas station, 202 Main St., according to a statement from police. Two suspects shoplifted various items from the store, including a children’s charity donation box that had about $70, police said. 

Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Justin Simard at 860-378-1600.
