Emil Altobello's Stance: The state economy is finally showing improvement. Job growth is continuing as shown by continuing increases in withholding (+5.6%) and the still declining unemployment rate.
Ernestine Holloway's Stance: I will work to promote small businesses, and create an environment to retain and bring business and jobs back to Connecticut.
Emil Altobello's Stance: Education is not an area that CT should ever shortchange. Our economy relies on our highly trained workforce.

Ernestine Holloway's Stance: Against any and all state tax increases. Connecticut doesn’t have a revenue issue it’s got a spending issue.
Emil Altobello's Stance: I have long been a supporter of strong public safety. Public safety is a cornerstone of any democracy.
Ernestine Holloway's Stance:All children and students deserve to be safe. We need to take a look at what other people are doing in other states. We need a separate entity that is going to work with the schools in Connecticut. I believe in the right to bear arms.
Emil Altobello's Stance: Good transportation is vital to our job creation efforts. We must continue to maintain our roads and bridges and make improvements where necessary.
Ernestine Holloway's Stance: How about taking care of what we already got. Expand public buses. Nobody is going to want to move to the state without public buses. Put the transportation budget on hold until we get a balanced budget.
Emil Altobello's Stance: Clean air and pure water are both necessary to maintain life itself. Connecticut should continue to make improvements for ourselves and our future residents.
Ernestine Holloway's Stance: Wants to see changes in notification requirements at the state level when municipalities experience violations in drinking water.
