Photos with the Easter Bunny

When: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday 

Where: Westfield Mall, 470 Lewis Ave. 

Description: Photos with the Easter Bunny will be available every day until March 31, in the lower level Court Center. With Autism Speaks, the bunny will be available Sunday from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for children within every spectrum of special needs.

Annual St. Patrick’s Day Dinner

When: 5:30-8:30 p.m., Saturday

Where: First United Methodist Church, 159 E. Main St.  

Description: Proceeds benefit the mission trips of the church’s youth group and UMArmy. Tickets are $15 per person, $25 per couple and $40 for a family of four or more.

Bangers and Mash Social 

When: 6:30-7:30 p.m., Friday

Where: Meriden Elks Lodge #35, 120 E. Main St. 

Description: Tickets are $8 for a bangers and mash dinner with dessert, celebrating St. Patrick’s Day. Call the lodge after 3 p.m. for reservations 203-235-0398.

Movies at the Library

When: 3-4 p.m., Saturday

Where: Meriden Public Library, 105 Miller St. 

Description: The library will be playing the movie “Coco,” free admission.

St. Patrick’s Day Brunch at New England Cider Co. 

When: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Saturday

Where: New England Cider Company, 110 North Plains Industrial Road #A

Description: Tickets are $40 per person for a St. Patrick’s Day event catered by Lyman Orchards. Barrel Aged and Cask Ciders will be available, along with a pre fixe menu of corned beef, beef hash, shepherd’s pie and more.

A Nite to Remember for Couples

When: 7-9 p.m., Friday

Where: New Life Church, 350 High Hill Rd. 

Description: FunandFaith hosts ‘A Nite to Remember for Couples” with best-selling authors and relationship experts Bill and Pam Farrell. Artist Dan Macaulay will provide live music. Tickets are $15 per person.

East Coast Snocross Event 

When: 10 a.m., Saturday and Sunday

Where: Mt. Southington, 396 Mt. Vernon Rd. 

Description: The East Coast Snocross will hold a snowmobile racing event through the weekend. Admission is $12 per day, $20 for the weekend, with kids under 7-years-old free.

12th Annual Shamrockin for Kids Dinner Dance

When: 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Saturday

Where: The Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry St. 

Description: The dinner dance will benefit the Mill Foundation for Kids. Tickets are $75 per person. There will be dinner, an open bar, live music from the Club G Entertainment, and silent auction and raffle items.

Green Gala

When: 6:30 p.m. to midnight, Friday

Where: The Aqua Turf Club, 556 Mulberry St. 

Description: The 7th Annual Green Gala will benefit The Cheshire Community Food Pantry, Inc. Tickets are $75 per person, with food, drinks and Irish entertainment included.

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt

When: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday

Where: Cheshire Community Pool, 520 S. Main St. 

Description: This event is open to the public and will be held in waves by age in different areas of the pool. Kids will get candy for each egg they find in the pool. Event is free for members and $2 per child for non-members with a family maximum of $5. Children should bring a bathing suit and towel. RSVP at 203-271-3208.

St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

When: 10-11 a.m., Friday

Where: Cheshire Public Library, 104 Main St. 

Description: Learn about the origins of St. Patrick’s Day with volunteers from St. Peter’s Episcopal Church who will read folktales from Irish culture, help kids make crafts and explore science. Registration is required on the library’s website.

Downhill Cardboard Box Sled Race

When: Noon, Saturday

Where: Powder Ridge Park, 99 Powder Hill Rd. 

Description: The first annual sled race invites families, friends and businesses to build the fastest cardboard sled and race it down the hill for prizes. Register to participate on the Powder Ridge website.
