ORANGE, Conn. (AP) — Police in Connecticut have arrested four juveniles they say stole a car, led police on a pursuit, and crashed into several other vehicles.
The chase started in Derby shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday when officers attempted to stop a car reported stolen. The driver didn’t stop and instead drove into Orange, where the car crashed into six other vehicles.
Police say four were damaged enough that they had to be towed. Several of the other drivers were taken to area hospitals with what police described as non-life threatening injuries.
Following the crashes, the driver of the stolen vehicle was taken into custody. Three passengers fled but were caught after a foot chase that involved police dogs and officers from Orange, Derby and West Haven.
No names or ages were released.
