ORANGE, Conn. (AP) — State police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck and killed by a car on interstate 95 in Orange.
The crash occurred at about 2:30 a.m. Monday at Exit 41 on the highway.
There was no immediate word on the identities of the person who was killed, or the driver of the vehicle involved. Police said more details would be released later in the day.
The state Department of Transportation said the scene was cleared about three hours after the incident.
