Middlefield native makes Green Bay Packers roster

A Middlefield native has made the Green Bay Packers roster.

Tim Boyle signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent in May. He played college football at the University of Connecticut from 2013-15 and at Eastern Kentucky in 2017.

Currently listed as the third-string quarterback on the team’s depth chart, Boyle will back-up Aaron Rodgers and DeShone Kizer.

Boyle attended Xavier High School in Middletown and was born in Hartford.
