WALLINGFORD — Police continue to investigate after an inappropriate message was found written on a Sheehan High School classroom whiteboard Wednesday.
Lt. Cheryl Bradley said Thursday there will be heightened security at the school throughout the day and officers will remain at the school until after-school activities conclude.
In an email to parents Wednesday, Sheehan Principal Rosemary Duthie said school officials and police investigated to “determine the origin of the message and validity of the comments.”
“Based on our current findings, there does not appear to be any reason for concern,” Duthie wrote.
Duthie said the school reamins “dedicated to ensuring the safety of all students and staff.”
