John P. Linnane, 43, of 29 Quarry Lane, Meriden, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding.
Linnane was driving north on Old Colony Road near the Meriden/Wallingford line shortly before 11 p.m. when an officer conducting radar enforcement pulled over Linnane for traveling 64 mph in a 35 mph zone, according to a police report.
