WALLINGFORD — A Cheshire man faces charges after police said he was found with a stun gun and two airsoft rifles in his car early Wednesday.
Joseph Grabiec, 18, of 71 Poplar Drive, Cheshire, was charged with possession of weapons in a motor vehicle.
An officer saw Grabiec sitting in a parked car on River Road around 4 a.m. and approached, Lt. Cheryl Bradley said. Grabiec appeared “nervous” and the officer searched the car, finding a stun gun and two airsoft rifles, police said.
Grabiec was taken into custody and released on $1,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on June 27.
