Police: Man left stolen car in driveway of Wallingford home

WALLINGFORD — A Hartford man faces charges after police said he left a stolen car in the driveway of a local home on Friday.

Judah Hatten, 18, of 915 Asylum Ave., Hartford, was charged Friday with third-degree larceny and improper use of marker plate.

Police responded to a Center Street home around 5:30 p.m. after a resident reported that Hatten had parked a vehicle in his driveway for no apparent reason and walked away, according to a police report.

Authorities discovered the car was reported stolen in West Haven. Police located Hatten a short time later and took him into custody, the report said. He was released on $5,000 bond and is due to appear in Meriden Superior Court on July 19.
