New Haven teen charged in Wallingford car burglaries



WALLINGFORD — A New Haven teen faces charges after police said he burglarized multiple cars in town. 

Keon Robertson, 18, of 283 Munson St., New Haven, was charged Wednesday with one count of second-degree larceny, two counts of sixth-degree larceny, three counts third-degree burglary, two counts of third-degree identity theft, three counts of credit card fraud, credit card theft and payment card fraud.

He was held on $75,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in Meriden Superior Court on Sept. 11. 

Police have been investigating multiple car thefts and burglaries over the last several months, according to police spokeswoman Lt. Cheryl Bradley. Similar incidents are still under investigation and future arrests are likely, Bradley said.
