WALLINGFORD — A local man faces charges after police said a teen found pictures of herself on an iPod owned by the man.

Joseph Williams, 23, of 38 Wharton Brook Drive, was charged Wednesday with voyeurism.

On Nov. 30, 2017 police received a complaint from the teen stating she found pictures of herself on an iPod owned by Williams, according to Williams’ arrest warrant. The teen said while using the iPod, she saw two pictures of herself sleeping and wearing only underwear. The time stamps on the photographs was 1:50 a.m. Williams was living in her home at the time, the warrant said.

Williams denied taking the pictures when he was interviewed by police.

Williams was arraigned in Meriden Superior Court on Thursday. According to statements in court, he does not have a criminal record. The judge released him on a promise to appear. The case was continued to June 20.
