WALLINGFORD — “By George!,” the richly varied work of the American composer George Gershwin, will be presented in a special tribute by the Wallingford Symphony Orchestra on Sunday, at 2 p.m. at Dag Hammarskjold Middle School, 106 Pond Hill Road.

The concert, originally scheduled for the Paul Mellon Arts Center, has been moved to Dag while repairs to the flood-damaged art center is being completed. audience.

The concert is dedicated to the late Terrence Netter, the first director of the Paul Mellon Arts Center, who co-founded the WSO with Musical Director Philip T. Ventre in 1974.
