A Wallingford man has been charged after state police said he was driving under the influence when he crashed on Interstate 91 early Thursday morning.
Moises Dominguez-Villagomez, 34, of 113 S. Cherry St., was charged with driving under the influence and failure to drive in proper lane. He was held on $7,500 bond.
Troopers responded to a crash on I-91 north near exit 22 on Thursday about 1 a.m. The driver of a car, later identified as Dominguez-Villagomez, appeared to be intoxicated, state police said. He failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody.
