Deja vu ahead?
Wallingford Democrats want us to believe they will be agents of change. To do that, they must have a vision, distilled down to a platform that differentiates them from the Republicans and sets forth what they will do different to change the status quo. Instead, they run against each other as well as against the R-Team with letters that advocate one candidate without supporting the party as a whole. I suggest that they need to get their acts together, draft a party platform that unifies them, and run as a team, or face being embarrassed at the polls once again.
Jim Krupp, WallingfordMove Meriden forward
Meriden voters have another chance this November to elect people who will improve the city. I urge you to vote for the Republican team this fall. The Republican-endorsed slate of candidates for City Council, Board of Ed and City Clerk are the people needed to move our city forward.
It is your and your children's future at stake, consider wisely and vote for the Republican team to get the city moving forward.
Allan E. Pronovost, Meriden
