Berlin Senior Boys Recreation Soccer teams represented the town well in the inaugural South Windsor season-ending tournament Saturday, Nov. 4.
Seeded fourth, sixth and seventh, respectively, the Eagles, AC Milan and Strikers all played well.
The Strikers took on the second seed New Britain Falcons and battled the eventual tournament champs to a tie before losing in an 11-player shoot-out.
The Eagles won their first game against the fifth seed New Britain Dragons, then fell to the New Britain Falcons.
The Eagles prevailed in their next game to finish third.
AC Milan bested the third seed Glastonbury-2 team and top seed South Windsor-1 to advance to the finals.
There, Milan played well, but lost to the New Britain Falcons to finish second in the tournament.
