Where does that come from?


Ken White, a member of Castle Craig Adult Learning Center, gave an interesting talk on the history of the chemical industry related to things we use today. The late 1800s and early 1900s were when many of the items we use today were first invented. Rayon, nylon, neoprene and DDT were some of the items which were developed during that time. Bakelite was the first synthetic made back in 1907.
