Up and about

Part VII

Strength is finally coming back; but do not over do

Weather it’s done first or last hours are too few!

So much to do, so much I’ve let go

Where do I start? I just don’t know.

Most important things I will do first

Balance the check book-what could be worse?

Dust, dust everywhere I look I see-

Sometimes I wish there were three of me!

Time flys by there’s no stopping it!

Should I read a book? No time to sit!

I’ve always felt I had to accomplish something each day

Takes so much time to do it the right way!

I’m back to volunteering a little each week.

Back to seeing friends for their company I seek.

Still take my nap each day

Still take time out to pray.

It’s very clear, that I’m still here!

— Betty Fisette, Meriden
