Reward offered for info on trapped owl

WALLINGFORD - The Connecticut Nuisance Wildlife Control Operators Association (CT NWCO Assoc.) is offering a $5,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful conviction of the person or persons responsible for illegally trapping a Great Horned Owl that was found in the area of Old Durham Road in Wallingford on January 19. As a result, the owl had to have its leg amputated and then was later euthanized due to its injuries.

The Connecticut Nuisance Wildlife Control Operators Association is a non profit organization to promote general standards and ethics within the nuisance wildlife control industry and to foster education, research, and the diffusion of knowledge throughout the nuisance wildlife control industry.
