MERIDEN — Excavators are repaving the parking lot and the former McDonald's is undergoing some remodeling to make way for a new restaurant expected for early spring.
Joseph Moruzzi, doing business as CJC Enterprises of Hamden, is readying the Blockbuster Plaza for a new tenant to replace the McDonald's that vacated about 14 months ago.
Moruzzi would not identify the tenant except to say it was an eatery and the best use of the property.
