WALLINGFORD — Cytec Industries Inc. recently announced $12.5 million in third-quarter earnings on sales $740 million.
The specialty chemical company showed the biggest increases in operating cost reductions primarily in its coating resins segment.
The reduction in sales for the quarter was attributed in part to destocking by parts manufactureres within the commercial aviation industry, according to Cytec chairman and President Shane Fleming.
