Meriden gas station robbed Wednesday night


MERIDEN — Police are investigating a robbery at the Stop and Shop gas station on Centennial Avenue Wednesday night.

Lt. Sal Nesci said the gas station cashier reported that a man walked up to the booth shortly after 8 p.m. and demanded money. The cashier complied and the man walked away.

The suspect is in his early 30’s about six feet tall, wearing a dark long crew neck shirt, dark sweatpants, a dark winter hat, and yellow work-type boots. His face was partially covered.
